All right, as noted last time I started on a new project and I am here to update my progress. The first row has been done and each step can be seen down below. I don't have the rights to distribute the instructions, but you can always compare imagery.
So without further ado, here are the four colors that I picked: white, dark green, grass green and a light green. In the instructions it has blue colors, yet the great thing with this pattern is that you can have any color you want! For me it was green.

This is the chain of 180 sc. I had to use paper clips to help me keep track with the counting. It made it easier and I recommend using whatever to help you.
Now remember, this is the first row (excluding the chain) and so I did it up to the first repeat. There is a cluster and it's supposed to bend like that. Trust me, when I first did it I thought I had done something wrong and almost undid it all :p But I checked the photo and surely enough .....
....it hooked like this! Looking like an "L" or sort of like a "V". This is the general look for the bottom and will continue to shape little "V's" or "L's" for the entire length.
So don't worry, it's right.
Look, I made a heart with it :3
And there you go! First row is done and it looks like a long curly fry! There is a little bit of sc on the the end, but nothing that I can't work in later (might have counted wrong somewhere, but not enough to make me redo it over).
Hope everyone enjoyed the first row! On to the next one, until then, keep on crocheting!
